Questionable Game Devs, Incredible Playtests and a German Invasion

Every time I look at the calendar, I’m astounded. April already? Time seems to sprint ahead, leaving me scrambling to catch up or wishing it would slow down. While I’m working on managing my time better, it’s still bewildering how swiftly it flies by.

In the spirit of honesty, I’ve wrestled with Impostor Syndrome this week. I had to step away from my desk, jot down what sets me apart from other streamers of similar size, and remind myself that it’s all in my head. Despite the rough patch, I’m committed to delivering my best and expanding my content across various platforms.

Editing has been quite the adventure lately, experimenting with new styles, presets, and techniques. The recent reset in Escape From Tarkov has been challenging but enjoyable, proving that starting late in the game still offers thrills and surprises.

We recently dove into a game called “Content Warning” on stream, which led to four hours of laughter-filled chaos. Sometimes, stepping away from serious games for a bit of fun is just what we need.

Back to the grind in Escape From Tarkov, making progress on those early wipe tasks. Life off the computer is also on track, thanks to a newfound routine that ensures I stay on top of household chores. Tara’s support means the world to me, and I’m determined to show her that I’m making strides in the right direction.

Off the PC, Tara and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, despite accidentally crashing a wedding. It’s moments like these that remind me of the importance of unplugging and spending quality time together.

As another week begins, Arma Reforger continues to captivate us. The unexpected twists and turns keep us hooked, making each session a unique experience. Arma: Reforger has been a revelation, offering a refreshing blend of customization, expansive maps, and entertaining game play. It’s like Squad but with a lighter tone, making each life a memorable journey filled with new encounters.

And then, there was Kevin. Meeting Papaplatte (Kevin) was an absolute game-changer, propelling our stream to new heights and leaving me buzzing with excitement. It’s moments like these that reaffirm my passion for content creation and drive me to give it my all.

The amount of love and support from the past 2 weeks from old and new members of the community has been absolutely mind blowing, I really cannot express how grateful i really am.

We’ve hit Partner on Youtube and allowed us to monetize our content, We’ve hit the highest amount of viewers ever watching the channel, We’ve hit the highest amount of subs, We’ve hit the plus program, meaning if we hit the plus program for the next 2 months that unlocks a 60/40 split on twitch for the next 12 months!

In times like these, amidst the ongoing drama surrounding Escape from Tarkov, the recent changes with the ‘Unheard’ edition, and the introduction of some Pay 2 Win features, I find myself deeply concerned. The constant back and forth with the community, A large portion of the Escape from Tarkov community seem to beĀ  changing opinions by a reddit post and others are watching Battlestate games dig themselves deeper and deeper. At present, I hold the view that Battlestate Games is revealing its direction and vision for the future, and it’s not a future I find appealing. There are numerous questionable decisions and new features emerging. The concept of a device to summon friends into the same raid is troubling enough, but the idea of summoning a friendly BTR seems utterly absurd

When writing all this down, it all doesn’t feel real. but seriously, Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
So, as we ride this wave of momentum, I’m reminded that this is our time to shine. I refuse to let it pass by without giving it everything I’ve got. This is our moment, and I’m ready to seize it.
