Hey fellow gamers,
Let’s talk about this month – the anticipation, the nerves, the excitement. Why? Because we’re on the brink of something huge. The arrival of the new computer is imminent, and truth be told, I’m a whirlwind of emotions. Imposter syndrome? It’s hitting harder than ever before. But amidst the jumble of feelings, there’s an eagerness bubbling up.
With the PC specs now unveiled, it’s not just about playing any game we fancy. It’s about the freedom to edit seamlessly, without the constant fear of system crashes. Dual streaming on Twitch and YouTube? It’s not just a dream anymore. Imagine whipping up graphics on the fly, tweaking streams together – that’s the kind of magic this new system promises.
Remember the frustration of lost work due to crashes or blue screens? That’s about to become a distant nightmare. No more starting from scratch or watching hours of effort vanish into the digital abyss. It’s a game-changer, quite literally.
On the IRL side – It was an absolutely pleasure to put gamer tags to faces at our IRL meet up. A big thank you to everybody who made the effort and broke the bank to come to London and hang with us all. We wandered around Borough Market and had a banging Chicken Shwarma wrap, saw a battleship, sank a few beverages, played pool and went to a ‘secret bar’ complete with a wheel mounted spin the wheel game and dice throwing cocktails. I had an amazing time and I hope you all did too. The next meet up has already been arranged, check the Discord for more info!
As the year draws to a close, the gaming world brims with excitement. So many new releases are knocking on our doors, and it’s exhilarating yet overwhelming. For creators like us, it’s a different kind of challenge. The pressure to create content for these releases, the fear of missing out – it’s a battle with our own minds at times.
Ark Survival Ascended made its entrance, and on the old PC, it was a struggle. Crashes and low graphics settings made it barely recognizable. But with the new rig? A breathtaking 130+ FPS on max settings – it’s like witnessing the game in a whole new light. The community vibe playing together? Priceless. Even if we leaned towards PvE to keep up with the pace.
Then came Battlefield 2042 – a smooth 200+ FPS experience. Being on top of the scoreboard while the computer remained cool as ice? Those moments matter. And of course, World of Warcraft’s Seasons of Discovery dropped, beckoning with its Classic+ vibes. A nostalgia trip, albeit with a slow burn that reminds me of the game’s earlier days.
Speaking of YouTube, there’s this urge to create, to share stories and playthroughs. But the dilemma is real – will the community resonate with the content? It’s that inner battle where every game seems like a potential dead-end for video ideas.
So, what’s next? Maybe it’s time to venture back to Norvinsk and see what’s changed since our daring escape.
Exciting times lie ahead, and I’m thrilled to share this journey with you all.
Until next time, let’s keep gaming strong.
